  • Double-sided wrapping paper

Cut out the eggs (one for each person making the decorations). Once you’ve done that, draw around the stencil on your wrapping paper - we’ve used ourWhite Botanicals Paper and drew on the mint green side. You’ll need 8 cut-outs per decoration.

Once you cut out all the eggs you need, you will need to fold them in the middle and along the long side - alternate the way you fold them, meaning in our example: we folded half the eggs with the pattern on the outside, the other half with the mint green side on the outside.

You will need 8 eggs per decoration - after you've folded all the eggs in half, you will need four eggs folded one way and 4 eggs folded the other way. Now glue the back of two different eggs together. Continue glueing the all the 8 eggs together. Don't glue together the final two backs as we will still need to place in the ribbon.

Take the 3mm ribbon and cut 40cm long pieces. Fold the ribbon and pull a wooden bead through and fasten with a knot. Set the knot a little higher up so your decorations will have a nice trail as shown in the photos.

Place the ribbon in between the final two backs which still need to be glued to create the 3D-effect. Glue these last two sides. Et voilà - your easter decoration is done!
